Musafir= traveler, panth = path, kathin = difficult
Prem nagar = city of love , shikhar = peak / height
Lubhana = to attract , birla = rare/ extraordinary person
Nirvana = salvation / liberation
Semantics :
O traveler! Do not go to city of love
The path of love is difficult
Place of love is on highest peak
Rivers of city of love are deep
Millions of people have drowned
There are beautiful fairies in city of love
Whole world have attract to them
According to bramhanand , only someone who is extraordinary and rare
Can achieve the state of salvation.
Connotations:
Here the supremacy of love is depicted with the help of metaphor. The deep river is the symbol of temptation / fascination, and beautiful fairies are the desires of human being that can never be satisfied.
Swami Bramhanand ji says 'o traveler! (Seeker of truth ) do not go on love's path ( here it is said to show the importance of love). Because love is the highest state and to reach that height you have to cross the deep river of temptation, countless people have drowned in that river. There are beautiful fairies in the city of love, with whom you will be attached and will not go ahead. ( To show the fear of entrapment in desires ).
In last swamiji says that only an extravagant person can achieve the height of love, can attain salvation.
