Bhajan lyrics by Brahmanand ji Maharaj

Semantics:
Oh, human soul, why fret thy mind's confines?
Fate's decree unfolds as stars aligns
Destiny's hand, relentless, ever true,
Despite man's striving, fate shall construe
Harishchandra, Nala, Rama, noble four,
Forsook their thrones, to distant forests tore
Each deed, a debt, must duly be repaid,
No foe, no friend, in fate's serenade
Brahmananda's hymns to heavens soar,
In God alone, distress finds it's restore
Connotation:
Swamiji implores, "Oh, humanity! Why worry about the future? For your destiny is shaped by your present actions. If goodness is what you seek, then sow the seeds of virtue, for as we sow, so shall we reap—such is the Law of Karma.
He illustrates with the tales of illustrious kings—Harishchandra, Nala, Yudhishthir, and Lord Rama—each revered for their righteousness and might. Yet, despite their noble stature, fate cast them into exile, into the depths of daunting forests. Thus, none can evade the clutches of Karma; only the divine grace of the Lord can liberate us from its grasp.
Therefore, Swamiji urges all to extol the virtues of the Lord."
